February 25

This week of my internship with computer services i've began a pretty exciting project. I have been assigned to being responsible for marketing and trying to get students involved with naming the new web portal for the college. Over the next few weeks i will be working on ways to market and get people involved with this exciting project. I will be coming up with prizes for the winner and runnerups for names for the portal. The goal of this project is to get more students than anticipated to participate in coming up with names. I'm looking forward to this project!

February 18

This week of my internship with computer services i finished my first data cleanup project. I finished adding the college codes and info in the new program for the ones that weren't already entered. I'm also beginning a marketing project to help name the new program. I will be coming up with ways to attract people to participate in the naming, by coming up with exciting prizes for the person that names it. I'm enjoying this internship.

February 11

This week of my internship i completed my first assignment of searching for all the school codes in the database. Then i began my next assignment of adding the codes and information for the schools not already entered. The next time i meet for my internship i will complete that assignment and begin my next one. I'm also about to begin organizing a marketing contest for naming the Banner Project. I've got to come up with some prizes for the winner of the best name idea for the Banner Project. I'm really enjoying my internship.

My internship with computer services working on the banner project is beginning to crank up. This week i began working on searching for college codes from the old data into the new so we know which schools need to be added to the new program. Its going to take a while to get all of them done as their are over a thousand codes i have to search to see if they are already listed. I'm really enjoying this internship and i'm learning a lot.
